Ford 150

Looking to tow a ford 150, will put my goldwing in the bed, using a lift.
My question is can I tow it four wheels down using a pump or what ever??
I look at the 4 wheel drive but would need a disconect put in. The 4 wheel drive is about 10 grand more and I would most likly never use four wheel drive. Any one towing a truck
Thanks Jim

You don't need a 4 wheel drive to tow. All you would need to do is have Remco install a driveshaft disconnect and you are ready to go. A friend of ours tows a 2 wheel drive Chevy with the driveshaft disconnect and never had a problem.

A 4WD truck should be towable as is. For the 2WD models, an automatic will require a driveshaft disconnect or a transmission lube pump. Stick shifts are probably towable as is.

You can see exactly what is needed for any F150 model by looking at the application charts at Home | Remco Towing. If nothing is needed, they will tell you so.
