Ford changed towing rules!

Bought an early 14 fiesta ST with 5 speed manual transmission based on then published info - including owners manual - stating that it was flat towable. Now Ford says NO! Anyone have experience with Ford wty claims being rejected because they changed rules AFTER you bought one?

That sucks

Save ANY documentation you have that says it was towable...
Might also scan it to have a saved soft copy...

So you can easily email it to anyone that needs it, like attorney, etc..

I have a Focus ST. It comes with a supplemental owner's manual specifically for the ST. Does the Fiesta ST also have a supplemental manual? If it does, what does it say about towing?

I don't know about Ford, but when Chevy pulled the same thing with the Cruze a couple of years ago, they gave owners who bought the car to tow credit toward another Chevy product. Most chose an Equinox, which was and still is towable.

I also have a Fiesta ST. It has a six speed manual, not a five speed. It is not flat towable and you won't find the information in the manuals. There is a Ford PDF online that shows which cars are towable and which ones aren't. Remco also shows the ST as not towable.
