Ford CMax Question

Finely gave up on TOW DOLLY with Prius. behind 01 Pace Arrow. Now have blu Ox and Ford Cmax in neutral ...just turn the air to recirculating before powering down Cmax.
My problem is the stealth Brake Buddy remote light is always on... can NOT keep battery in coach up even with disconnect switches off. Does anyone have a stealth remote that shuts off with the coach Ignition switch.?

Do you have this
http://www.brakebuddy.com/pic/instructions/stealthinstructionmanual.pdf.
Seems like a couple of the FAQ's talk about disabling stealth.

Artaslessen- glad to see your post on the Cmax. we bought the Energi last year with the intention of towing it and am now starting to work on it. Can you talk to me about the Blue ox installation and what you are using for supplemental tow braking? would it be possible to send me a picture of what the Cmax blue ox fittings look like?
thanks,
Jim aka relget

Installer said there is no drain on batt from brake buddy remote when not plugged into tow . I removed fuse and checked current at zero. My coach batt may have been the problem and I replaced them. Biggest problem iS the stretch cable is too tight at ten curls and a 16 curl cable should stay connected. Trial tie wrapping both ends to their connectors stopped the Alerts. Thanks for the input

The cmax 2013/14 blu ox base plate fits nicely with cut outs in grill minimal. I read to set air to recirculating before turning off to keep exhaust from camper out of car. To my delight the odometer does not add when towing. Ordered a bra but will have to modify that to fit over tow extensions

Artaslesen- watched the Utube video and looks like a nice installation. BTW, is your max an Energi model? i would be interested in how the bra works out for you. can you tell me which model/mfg. you went with on the bra?

yes its the energi and we added a couple of extra solar panels when we installed solar recently. The bra I found on AutoAnything specifically listed for MAX (our pet name for Cmax )
