I went with the SMI Air Force 1 system. Having air brakes on our Thor Palazzo coach made this choice fairly easy. Again, it doesn't require anything from the toad but a 12 volt tie to the battery for break-away activation. I did tie into the Explorer brake light switch for an LED mounted on the coach dash, wired thru my 7 pin umbilical. When this light goes on I know the brake pedal has actually moved. Just extra peace of mind. I installed this system myself and it was not that difficult. Getting under the coach was the most difficult part. I called SMI a couple of times with questions and they were very helpful. I am very happy with the system and would purchase one again.
