Good evening,
I like the new Ford Flex but if its not towable four down then there is no sense in even looking at them.
Does anyone know if they are towable four down?
Thanks, Letsgoagain

The new Flex, Edge and Taurus/Taurus X all share the same drive train and all are towable 4 down. The AWD version CAN NOT be towed using a dolly.

The new Family Motor Coach towing guide says the Flex AWD and Front Wheel Drive are towable 4 down.

FleetMan and wthomas1,
Thank you both for the quick replies. That eliminates that part of the equation.
Do either of you know how much the Flex weighs. I know that the towing guide sometimes list it but I don't have access to one right now unless its online.
Thanks again for your help.

The same applies to the Escape, with the Intellidrive system. We have one on order.

Ford has one of the best towing guides I've ever seen on their website. The current one is a 32 page document covering all their '09 vehicles. The guides are available from 2002 - 2009, here:
