Anyone out there towing a Flex with the push button start? What are the procedures for putting into neutral since there is not key to turn on acc?

We are flat towing our 2015 Ford C-Max Energi. We start the car and run the gas engine for one minute. Then, we put the car in Neutral and turn the motor off using the start/stop button. The owners Manual recommends that we run the engine again after 6 hours of towing. We would suggest that you read the Owner's Manual section titled Recreational towing and follow those recommendations.

That is excellent advice. I don't think running for one minute is sufficient on a Flex. My Lincoln MKT says to run it 5 minutes. At any rate to answer your first question, after you run the engine you put the shifter in neutral and turn off the engine with one press of the start/stop button. It is now ready to tow. But read the manual as there are a few other things you should do.
