Is the new Ford Freestyle a vehicle that can be towed, 2 wheels up? Probably looking at all wheel drive, auto,? dealerships say.....well I can't tell you I don't have that info. So dad needs a little help from friends!

Dunno, but AWD is not a guaruntee of towability like 4WD is. In fact, AWD vehicles are typically NOT towable 4-down (Honda CRV is exception rather than the rule). But you are asking about dolly towing (2 wheels up) and I would think that any 2WD drive vehicle could be dolly-towed as long as the drive wheels are off the ground. So if you don't get the optional AWD drivetrain on the Freestyle, it will likely tow "2 wheels up" just fine.

should say so in the owners manual.
I would guess, with all wheel drive, that you cannot tow it 2 wheels up.

I do know that the Blue Ox website says one of the baseplates coming soon is for the Ford Freestyle...that would suggest it is towable 4 wheels down. Might be like the Explorer...Ford may need to install a neutral tow kit.
