Ford Transmission Again

For the third time a new tranny for the Escape. Same problem all the time towing in hot weather and the tranny overheats to the point of smoking. Another destroyed tranny.
Yes I have a pump but when the weather is over 90 it makes no difference. Time for something different. GM Colorado, GM Equinox.

Is your coach a Diesel pusher and if so does the exhaust come out the rear pointed to the toad radiator or to the side? I think some of the problems with the transmissions are caused by the hot exhaust blowind directly on the trans cooler in the radiator.

I had the same problem with the transmission in my 09 escape. Had to get a new transmission in July
