Free Blue Ox Base plate and Tow Bar for 2013 Ford Fusion

Blu ox has not yet made a base plate for the new 2013 Ford Fusion due to the lack of a vehicle to test fit. They are offering a free base plate and tow bar to the first person able to bring their car to their plant in Pender Nebraska. Contact Roxanne Simonsen at Blue Ox.

I wonder if they would like a 13 escape to fit a new base plate to. The 13 escape is a new model also, but I don't even know if it is towable four down. I would be glad to offer them mine though for a free base plate and tow bar setup if it is. But I haul it on a trailer now but I would try the four down option if it was free, and I am close to Nebraska, but don't know where Pender is located.

Looks like Pender is 367 miles from the house here. But my 13 escape is AWD so I dought if it is towable. But I really don't know. May be worth a call to Blue Ox, and they probably know about its tow ability.

I went to Pender last May and did the free deal on my '12 Jeep Rubicon COD, well worth the trip (400 mi one way). Takes about 3 days for the fitment and template. Nice RV park on the grounds if you take the motorhome, but I did not and stayed in West Point. Great people to work with and very accomodating.
