Had been thinking of using the Trike for a toad, but thought better of it. Bought a 2005 Grand Cherokee yesterday, and will need to get a baseplate and bar for it.
Can you give me an idea of what exactly I need to get, to set this up for towing. My thought is to trek over to Camping World and have them set it up, but then again, they can get pricey.
Also, has anyone got experience with the Grand Cherokee as a tow vehicle, good or indifferent?

Assuming it is a 4WD model, it makes an excellent toad. You need a base plate, tow bar and wiring for stop/turn/tail lights. I also highly recommend some type of auxiliary towing brake. SMI, a sponsor of this forum, makes several excellent models and there are others from Roadmaster, Brake Buddy, M&G, etc. Use the FIND function to search for toad brakes and you will find lots of info.

My DW and I have been getting estimates for hooking up the necessary items for us to tow the Jeep. Thus far, Camping World seems to be the lowest. They quoted a total of $1,600 which will include a Baseplate ($409) Installation fee($213) Bulb Kit and Installation( $250) and a Falcon 2 Towbar ( $619) for a total of $1,600 including tax. Has anyone had this equipment installed by Camping World and were you happy. I did check with other RV Service centers, and they were about $300 higher. Thanks

Was that Camping Worlds Club price? If not you pay a few bucks and join Camping Worlds club you will save even more.
