Can this model and year be flat towed? We can't find clear information in the owners manual. Following their instructions, the front wheels seem in a lock position. Worried about going around corners.

Yes it can be flat towed. The steering wheel does not lock when you remove the key. So you can set it up and the take the key and lock the doors. That way if you are in a pull thru for the night you don't have to worry about the truck at all.

I owned a 2006 GMC Canyon crew cab 4x4. Yes it can be easily flat towed with the xfer case in neutal and without the key in the ignition. The operative word is "had". I was not happy at all with it's quality. Quite frankly it was a piece of junk.

Yes you can tow it by just putting the transfer case in neuteral. You do this by holding the 2 wheel drive button and the 4 wheel low button at the same time and you will here it disingage and the light will come on. Great truck I love mine. Only problem I had was the tires, never could get them to balance finally bought some michelens and no more problems.
