Hi all. I am considering going to a class A diesel pusher. I love my Volvo but I need to haul 2 vehicals and 2quads. So I am looking for a class A that will safetly tow a 30 ft stacker triaxle enclosed trailer (about 15,000 lbs). Inside the trailer I will haul my drag race car, a jeep or something similar for driving around at our destination, 2quads for use in the pits, lots of tools and some spare parts. I relize this is a tall order, but we like our comforts on the road, something around 30 feet or better. Any thoughts on a class A that will pull this??
Cheers
Bear

Bearman, I think you will have to go to a fairly big (and expensive) Class A to get a 15,000 lb receiver. I'm not familiar with other brands, but the Tiffin Allegro Bus comes in both 40' and 42' floorplans and they only have 10,000 lb hitch capacity. You have to go to the 45' Tiffin Zephyr to get a 15,000 lb hitch.

I think you are best to look at something like a Renegade motorhome/toterhome. I have looked at them and they have some real advantages, towing is one of them. Good luck!

My 45' coach with a 600 Cummins will tow 15k....Most coaches under 45' will not have the 15K tow range.

Showhauler has some great toterhome or garage motorhome plans...

I'd pair the toterhome with either a Featherlite Stacker or an ATC Stacker...
Check my photo gallery for pics of my 24' ATC Stacker.
