Got dolly need advice for extra tail/brake lights

Just purchased a Master Tow dolly. I want to use the EZ Brake controller from American Tow Dolly. Anyone had experience with this set up? I also need info on wiring an extra set of magnetic lights to sit on the trunk lid. What would be the best way to wire the extra lights in? Thanks

Congrats on making the smart decision to dolly tow. Your toad will be very happy riding on the dolly, saving those miles of wear and tear on the bottom end of the driveline and up high, away from the risk of rock strikes.

I always used a Tekonsha brake control before going to surge brakes on my dolly, so will defer to others for that.

As far as additional lights, they are not required in my state. But, it is always a good step for additional safety. Most of these magnetic or hook-on lights are wired for the same color code wires as the dolly - except for the 5th wire for the brake controller...just tap into the dolly wires.

Or you could make a simple splitter for the 5wire to a separate 5 and 4 pin connector - similar to this:
Anzo Trailer Hitch Wiring Splitters | Anzo Trailer Hitch Adapters

Best of luck
