Run that 12V+ Aux pin on the 7 pin into the Toad Charge I mentioned above and it will protect you by both isolation and current draw.... It can't get any easier or more protected...

Google "7 pin trailer wire" to get lots of diagrams...

The AUX/12+ (if it's connected on your moho plug as this is an optional wire) is the black 10ga wire. If connected just run it into the Toad Charge with a ground (the white 10 ga wire and it certainly should be connected on your moho plug). Output of Toad Charge then goes to the toad battery directly.

ok so i have a 7 to 6 pin so i would take an run a wire from the open pin which is at the 2 o'clock position and run it to the battery ?an that would be just one wire correct ? or are u saying run a wire from the 4 pin which is the aux on the seven wire connector to the battery separately

You can take power for the towed charge off the AUX wire, with a relay to the IGNITION wire, The AUX wire is not hot when you are starting the RV, it is when you are driving it. (This is the power to things like the radio).

The ignition is hot when the RV is running and starting..

Or take it off the battery with a relay to AUX for that matter.

Or use the Toad-Charge device, that is the best option.
