Take your time and like I said make sure you know what you need to do each step before you do it and it will be OK. The people here at IRV2 are a real knowledgeable group. If in doubt POST! And I too am available for questions just PM me.

Also, the guys at US Gear tech support are very helpful. The CD that comes with it is good. The kit is first rate and the product support is fine.

One other thing, I used the seperate light kit from Blue Ox (BX8869 Bulb and Socket Tail Light Wiring Kit)this avoids the potential problems with the electrical interconnects to the Toad. My dealer advised me to get the seperate kit. He has seen several "fried" computers on Escapes (I am sure the same can happen to almost any vehicle) when the diode hookups were made incorrectly.

Remember! Measure twice (or 3 or four times) cut once!
