Has anyone towed a 2003 Saturn Vue with the VTi auto transmission - 4 down?
I'm ready to start the season and would like to use this vue as a towable. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check your book. But I think that can NOT be towed 4 down. VTI Transmission is different then the rest.

Thanks: ups 34.
There was no owners manual with the '03 vue. I tow an '00 sw2 saturn automatic with no problem. simple-hook and go. I was attempting to get one vehicle to tow & also use as a pleasure car. Guess I'm still 'gonna have 2 vehicles.
Thanks again...

We just bought an '05 Vue to use as a toad. While shopping for it, I downloaded all of the Motorhome dingy guides from 2002-2008. I just looked at '03 and '04 and they both list the Vue without qualifications. In the '05 guide, it clearly says that the Vti is not flat towable. I guess you could intrepret that several ways. Rather than leave it to chance, I suggest contacting a Saturn dealer. I've gone to Saturn Corp for several questions and they are absolutely useless. They are going to call dealers that they know to answer your questions anyway so I'd see if I could find a cooperative dealer and get them to help you, cutting out the "middle man". I'm hoping that if/when Saturn gets spun off as an independent company again, that is one of the things that will change. They should take ownership of what they build, not pass it off to another company altogether.
