Help on flat towing a PT Cruiser

I'm back! I ended up buying a 2003 PT Cruiser from a friend with the 5 speed manual transmission. Now for the big questions.

What do I need to flat tow it? I know I need a tow bar and a plate to attach to the car. I'm sure everyone has their own favorite, but I'm looking for recommendations for both the tow bar and plate. Also, do you recommend a ball hitch or a drop hitch?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Blue Ox, has been good for me in the bar and base plate . Go for the 10,000 lb unit , you never know if you'll want to upgrade the toad and need the extra strength.
You won't know about a drop hitch until you line up the toad behind the coach , manufacturer of the bars want the hook up as close to level as possible, and there is a maximum listed in the instructions.

Blue Ox makes a good tow bar. That is what we have for our Chevy Spark.

Don't forget a braking system. Some states may not require it for a car that light but others will. If you have an accident it will be one of the things they will be looking for.

You will also need a wiring harness for the lights. Check Blue Ox.
