does any one know what fuse to pull,, so you can tow an hhr,, I think it has something to do with the steering wheel lock thanks David-lee, Marsha 30' Itasca

On my 09, it is # 8. The owners manual told me that.

as noted by cliff - it is the same for our pontiac G5
to make sure we got it EXACTLY right -wrote to GM
received full instructions, in writing, from them
i also wanted this if ever there was issue with the warranty

#8 is correct, I found a nice little DIY tip to install a "fused" switch so that you are not having to always pull the darn thing. I installed one on my 08 HHR. Now the only hassle is I have to push the darn button everytime I want to get the keys out!

Here's a fuse switch that I use RV parts, accessories and supplies, rv, rv accessories .

I found the pics but not the verbiage, it should be easy to follow.
I don't even remember where I found this but here ya go;
Make sure you get a good switch.

Better yet put the fuse switch on the driver's side kick panel; makes it easier to access when setting up for towing. That's where mine is on my HHR.
