I have a 93 Dutchman Royal Classic 31ft Class A. Last night the hitch broke. It had been welded previously due some some tears from metal fatique. I think the spare tire mount caused this problem.
Well, now I need to replace the hitch with a new one, probably a class IV receiver. Can anyone suggest a particular receiver to purchase and give advice on how to obtain proper model # and where to buy from?

Thank you,
Rob

Hey Rob,
Just about any RV dealer or Marina would put on Hitches, also you could look in your local phone book for a start. If you want to put it on yourself go to on line RV part stores, just a few quick ideas hope it helps some!

Thanks.

Who did the welding for this job quoted above "welded previously" ?

The welder cannot be held responsible. I use this RV & trailer primarily for hauling ATV's. Last year the hitch broke just as I pulled in to our riding club. A person at the club welded it for me and told me that he did the best he could and that it is only a temporary fix so I could make it back home. I used it successfully for more than a year.
