Our hitch weight limit is 4000#. The LaPalma has a Cummins 325HP with a 6 spd Allison.

We would like to tow the Honda CR-V. My questions are :

Should it be 2wd or 4wd?
Year 2007 or 2008?

We've owned Toyota 4Runners 4x4 for many years, both manual and automatic. W'e like to stay with the automatic and would like to continue with an SUV-type. We are planning to have the hitch mounted on the MH and get supplimental braking for the toad (EvenBrake prossibly). We will add these weights to the toad to be sure we stay under 4000#.

What are we missing or not considering? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Both the Front Wheel Drive and the All Wheel Drive are towable without mods, so take your pick. And I can't think of any reason to choose one year over the other, other than your personal likes and dislikes.
