we just purchased a 07 cr-v and the manual explains how to tow it. On another note, we purchased a surge brake, tried to drill thru the floor board at the brake peddle and came out inside the uni-frame. any one using a surge brake on a cr-v???? bill

Bill, I am not familiar with the surge brake however the surge brake manufacturer certainly must be. I would call them and ask them for a recommendation or additional information about installation. Failing that you may need a professional installer.

I installed an SMI - Duo recently and it works really well. Good luck!

If your goal is just to get thru the firewall near the brake pedal....there are usually AT LEAST 1 or 2 grommets that have other wires going thru...just poke what you need to poke thru the grommet...
