Honda CRV Towing

Just picked up our first motorhome and am now looking at the tow vechicle, I have decided on the Honda CRV since I'm a huge Honda fan.
The one question that I have is there a fuse to pull so the mileage is not racking up as I'm pulling? I have looked through the manual and see where they are talking about pulling 4 down however no mention of fuses.

Need to no the yr., our 2007 will not clock miles and you don't have to pull a fuse . Some folks pull top left fuse not sure on the # as they have battery problems. I have pulled our CR-V about 15k and only onces had battery run down from Even Brake sysytem about 25 hrs.with out running for any time except to set up to tow. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

If you're considering the purchase of a 2009 Honda CRV here's what comes straight from the owner's manual on page 267 concerning pulling the fuse:

When towing your vehicle for long periods, remove the 7.5 A Accessory
Radio fuse to reduce drain on battery. This fuse is located in the interior

fuse box and is shown as number 34 below. (NOTE: Picture indicates the upper
left fuse.)
Only remove the fuse after you have performed the transmission shifting
procedure, and the key is in the ACCESSORY (I) position. Store the
fuse in an obvious location (center tray, coin pockets, etc) as a reminder to re-install the fuse before driving the vehicle.

I have towed Honda CR-Vs about 100,000 trouble free miles. Some years of CR-Vs need to have a fuse removed and some years don't need a fuse removed. If you follow the towing instructions in your owners manual you will have no troubles. All vehicles today have electronic speedometers / odometers and they do not record mileage while towing.
