How much can we tow for a toad??
Using this tag what is the max weight of our toad? Using the Fleetwood numbers for our load (to include a full fuel tank.OCCC 3445)
We will be towing 4 down and We understand the tongue weight 4 down is nil less than 30?
I see 30,000-coach weight22555-occc3445-733 water-50 water heater-97propane= 3120 left for our toad not close to 10,000
We understand decreasing the OCCC will increase the toad weight we cab tow?
THANK YOU

I believe you have done the math correctly. Except I might have further bad news. I do not see the Fuel tank listed on that sticker.
it showes weight as 22555 lbs on 5-31-13. Is this with a full fuel tank?
The only reason I could see they installed that 10k hitch is that if you were to keep people and things to the point of being able to tow over 5K??

That looks right. If you were running almost empty, you would have about 3,000# under the GVWR. Add the 4,000# difference between GCWR and GVWR and you could have about 7,000# to tow, so the hitch is safe. You probably need to load up with your basic load, a partial tank of water and full fuel, then get weighed, to see where you're really at.

No fuel included. The OCCC was 3445 and I felt this was very heavy for us and our dogs and gear. I let the 700lbs for fuel in that figure 3445
THANK YOU

Hi bobandshaz,
GCWR - GVWR = maximum towed weight
30,000-26,000 = 4,000 lbs for towing
It is not clear to me (experience) how one could tow much more than the 4K and still comfortably use the coach. Everybody is different. Over time, a coach is like people, they gain weight. How much you stay under the GVWR can be added to the 4K towing number.
How much weight do you want to tow?

Interesting, for my rig the sticker includes a full tank of water/propane/fuel to determine my available CCC. Yours leaves it up to the consumer quite a bit.

Yes you are correct this doesn't show any fuel load. That is 700+ to take away from the CCC

4000 pounds. In my experience, we all load our coaches with as much as we can carry, so I would plan on only the amount specified by the manufacturer. Your hitch rating is 10000 pounds, but that does not mean you can tow 10000 pounds. That would depend entirely on how much the " stuff" you stuff into your coach weights. Better to be safe than sorry and stick with the 4000 pounds.
