How often do you run your GM toad?
I have my 2014 GMC Acadia all set up to tow for its first trip. The manual says to run the engine every time you stop for fuel, but I don't have to fuel the RV for 400+ miles. I was just going to run the toad when we stop for breaks every few hours (or 200 or so miles).
Just wondering what your routine is if you have an Acadia, Enclave, or other toad that manufacturer recommends cycling on every so often.
Thanks in advance.

I stop for fuel about every 400 miles also. But stop about every 2 hours to exercise. I run the engine about every other stop for 5 minutes.

You should stop about hourly to stretch your legs. But every other hour is good too... That said.. The ride I tow needed a lube pump so.....

If we are traveling I start it every four or five days. Works fine.

I have a 2012 Malibu that says the same thing as your Acadia. I, at the least, run it 10 or 15 minutes every evening after being on the road all day. I've towed it around 5k miles so far and have had no problems.

2010 Enclave. Run it once a day, most of the time. 10,000+ miles, no problems.
