How to anchor an original Brake Buddy?

Recently had to euthanize my '07 Saturn VUE after it was T-boned by a red light runner.

Replaced it with a '17 Chevy Equinox.

My problem is the Brake Buddy (original version) squirms and moves all over when it's activated.

Any suggestions from those with experience, on how to anchor it would be appreciated.

For a couple of vehicles I’ve made spacers to fit between a braking actuator and the seat mounting tracks to prevent the actuator moving around. Some bits of wood and metal from Home Depot and a little time, if you’re handy.
