Hi,
Need to pull a fuse on an 07 Aura. It is buried under the hood, then under a battery cover then under the fuse panel cover. I want to put a switch on the fuse. Question, what the best way to put it on? I presume to split the existing fuse then add(solder) on an additional fuse in-line the thru a switch back to the other side of the split fuse. Any comments greatly appreciated
Don

Hi Don,
Yes, that is the way to do it. Be sure to use a switch, fuse and wire to carry the amps and grommets as necessary. Place the fuse as close to the box as possible.
I mounted the switch under the dash where it could not be accidental hit when driving.
There is a company on line that sells the wiring harness.

Don, make sure the in-line fuse is on the HOT side of the old fuse connector. Otherwise your switch and new wiring will not be protected.
