Hummer H3 wiring diagram

Just got our new to us H3 today am planning on a trip next weekend need to get the lights wired for towing does anyone have a wiring diagram on how to do this have done it before on our jeep but this is a new animal to me

I ran wires back to the area near the rear tow socket and connected there. No diodes used.

Are you going to use a braking system? If I had it to do over again and knew about them I would opt for the ready brute. The braking system on the H3 is hydroboost and can be activated by adding an inline fuse. The brakes on the H3 are outstanding.

Heck, if you bought it used from Sacramento it might be mine and already set up.

I am confused some here what do u mean by rear tow socket and exactly how did I do it

My Hummer had a towing package and a 7 pin socket on the back. I just followed the wire up to the tail lights from that and wired in to those.

Ok got it once I had the tail lights out I saw I room to add a light socket just like I did on my jeeps so that is what I did all ready to go thanks for the help

I do have to ask when u take the transfer case out of neutral should the engine be running it seems that it bangs back in to gear when I do that and it takes more then ten seconds what the book says

I didn't like the banging either so I always shut it off and put it in park and restarted.
