Hyundai Tucson Alternative TOAD

Went to Hyundai dealer to check on the Tucson for a TOAD as I want a small SUV type TOAD. Not only do they not have any manual transmission Tucson GL, they said there were only 4 in the whole country. They are being phased out because "everyone" wants automatic.

So any suggestions a good alternative for small, lightweight, 4 down, easily towed? My brother is totally dissatisfied with the Jeep Patriot so that is not a good alternative.

Jerry

The Honda CRV is by far probably the most popular small SUV toad. Some others include the Suzuki Grand Vitara 4WD, and Jeep Liberty 4WD. All are towable automatics.

Thanks. The procedure required with CR-V turned me off on that.

If you can find or want a preowned, the Chevy HHR is towable four down. Just remove fuse #8 or install a fuse switch.
