I have a 1995 31 ft. Itasca sunrise with a 454 engine. I have never towed anything with it, but I am thinking about towing a horse trailer and two horses with it. The weight would be about 4500 lbs. My question is do you think it will tow that much weight without damaging anything? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

All I can tell you is that I owned an 86 allegro 33 fter with the 454 and I pulled a car 4 down for years. Only thing it hurt was my wallet for gas.

You might have a towing capacity that is lower than that. Possibly 3500. Suggest you check the bedroom closet for a label insid which should give you limits or call Winn.

Somewhere, in manual, etc. it should tell you the max towing capacity for your RV.

Yeah, check for your towing capacity and then make sure you know what your coach weighs so you don't exceed your rig's CGVW. You sure don't want to find out you have a problem the hard way.

Thanks for the replies. I looked in the closet and the info sheet inside gives me the weights.
