Installing Surge Brakes Demco KarKaddy

Has anyone done this ? Any unforeseen problems ?
I'm looking at this Kodiak disc kit on ebay

Does it have a provision for disabling when backing up? Surge brakes can present problems when trying to back up.

I assume your dolly already has surge brakes? The kit you show doesn't have the master cylinder to apply the brakes, that would have to be bought and installed if your dolly isn't equipped.

I just bought a disc brake actuator off ebay about an hr ago, $87 incl shipping, an accepted offer, and a good buy I think. E trailer is $139

I haven't bought the disc/calipers yet, but I do have an offer on it.
I just hope it all fits

Adding Surge Brakes

I bought these 2 items
Brake Actuator Trailer Hitch 2" Dico Aero 6000 | eBay

Trailer Disc Brake Set for 3500 Pound Axle | eBay

Still need the brake lines etc etc,....and hope it all works
