Insurance for car trailer

Was wondering if those of you with car transporter trailers - flat bed, stacker or otherwise, have them insured separately from the MH or vehicle/s that is in or on them? Or, are they possibly covered with an add-on to the MH insurance or even uninsurable? The reason i ask is I am now considering a trailer to go with the coach when we buy (to be able to carry multiple 'things') rather than towing wheels down.

I have a 24' enclosed car trailer. I have an insurance policy on it through my State Farm agent. I think it cost me about $45/year.

MN is home for now.
