Invisi brake with non-loadmaster towbar?

Hi All,

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a tow setup. We have a 2016 Winnebago Vista 31be and just purchase a 2017 Jeep Cherokee (not a GC).

I think I leaning towards the blue ox tow bars. We won't be towing every time and to honest it looks so much simpler than the others. For instance, the Roadmaster have much more assembly needed on the brackets.

I'm starting to look at braking systems and I like the idea of the invisi brake. I like the idea of leaving it installed and and the fact that it re-charges battery, etc.

Question is does the invisi brake need to be installed with roadster tow and brackets or can it be used with the Blue Ox?

If so, are there any other similar systems that could be used with the blue ox set up? Open to any recommendations.

Thanks!

I have the Invisibrake and a Blue Ox tow bar. No problem. The tow bar has nothing to do with the Invisibrake.

Thanks, jfran. Since you have the same setup I'm thinking of do you mind if I ask how you like it? Any pros cons?

When we first got the Invisibrake we had to readjust it due to it putting too much pressure on the brake pedal and sounding the alarm.

Aside from that we haven't had any problems. Easy to hook up and disconnect on our Spark.
