Is a 2009 Chevy Impala Towable?

We bought a 2009 Impala 2 weeks ago and asked the sales person if it was towable. In all the negotiations of buying, we never got a straight answer. Does anyone know? Personally, I kinda doubt it, but would love to be pleasantly surprised ...

It is not shown as towable 4-down in the 2009 Dingy Towing Guide. You can search the Remco Site to see if they make kits to tow it 4-down, however, I doubt it. You could tow it on a dolly.

RonL...I don't believe it is without a Remco kit on it. GM will state if it is in the Owners Manual. I will check to see if I have access to a 2009 Manual when I go into work tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for your input. I Google Remco for more info.

2009 Impala 4 down

Here is a link to the owners manual:

Page 4-27 shows No Dingy towing.

Home | Remco Towing

Remco site says the 2008 Impala is towable with the addition of their transmission lube pump. The 2009 is likely the same, but call them to be sure (it's not listed in their application guide yet). Most front drive cars can be towed if a lube pump is used.
