Just for my understanding - is that towing with a Fit (can it tow?) or Towing the Fit (which we know we can).
Thanks

We have a 2010 Fit base model with a 5 speed and have been pleased with it. As others have said, the interior is surprisingly roomy and versatile. It excels as a daily commuter car, and I'm looking forward to setting it up as a toad.

It is not an especially good highway runner - it is a bit too darty and susceptible to winds. Plus, of course the road noise. But given it's size and configuration, none of that is really a surprise.

If you search "Fit" on this forum, you'll get a number of useful threads, BTW.

maybe it's only me... my fit has 20kmi now, the front engine mount is already separated - when idling with load (waiting in red light), a loud rattling sound can be heard. a shop mechanic said the engine mount is broken. i stopped to honda dealer this week, they said it's a wearable item so not under warranty . honda motor america said only dealer can determine if it's covered... oh well, what to say? a cheap made car and a irresponsible manufacturer!! (remember toyota denied faulty accelerating? that is a pattern of this kind of companies). blame on me, i made mistake once and i will not make a mistake again.

i am writing here just to let the those searching for a toad be aware... again maybe i am the only one less fortunate, although tiny...

We've had almost nothing but Honda's since 1988 (exception was the '97 Jeep GC) and have never had a breakdown with any of them. No transmission problems either, but then we've never towed them four down except for the '05 Ody we now have. We've only towed it about 10,000 miles so far.. Biggest problem has been my forgetting to release the parking brake before towing, need new shoes for them now.
