I believe they were in the 70 to 80 dollar range for the pair. Yes, quite beefy.

Thank you for the info. The picture on the website probably don't do them justice.

These bumper hitches normally have shackle mounts attached that have a 7/8 inch opening. I welded up some new brackets for my tow bar to match these shackle mounts.

The Currie Enterprises base plate replaces the OEM plastic valance panel and bolts the bottom of the bumper and to the frame. It has fittings for Blue Ox towbars, costs about $200. Very beefy piece.

I actually went with the RockHard bumper which is very stout. I picked this bumper because the shackle mounts are welded on the inside and the outside. I then had some adaptors made for the Adventa tow bar. I have towed over 7,000 miles and it works great.

Another good company is Tomken. See this post from 2007:

Towing a Jeep wrangler

If you are going to do any off roading do not use the under bumper mounts from the tow bar companies... You will destroy the mounts.

Blue Ox makes these brackets, they cost $52. They fit the Blue Ox Alladin tow bar perfectly. I have them bolted to a rock crawler bumper.
