Do I need to take a picture of mine? I am just telling everyone that if you have a Jeep, the owner's manual may be wrong. Both my 2012 and my 2014 are incorrect. The unfortunate thing about my 2014 is that I damaged my Jeep trying to get the thing out. My 2012 Durango had the same keyless system, so I was able to take that button out. The 2014 changed.

Double check the towing instructions on the newer Jeeps.

The current version of the JGC Owner's Manual (I have the 7th edition) do not say anything about the keyless start button. I recommend that everyone get the most recent version of the OM from jeep.com.

One other thing comes to mind. Make sure all doors are closed and the liftgate window isn't open or you can't shift the transfer case into or out of neutral.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear... The Owners Guide (the book that comes with the Jeep 192 pages) is the one that is wrong. The Owners Manual (the book you have to order from Jeep 602 pages) is correct and the instructions I posted were from the Owners Manual.

And I completely agree, there is no reason that the instructions shouldn't be correct.
