This thread has been quiet for almost 6 months. So it seems everyone that was having the problem got it resolved, either with a pre-N23 FDCM or by having the July 29 re-flash done. I had the re-flash done back in October 2014 and so far no issues getting transfer case into neutral. Pshew!

I have not had the recall of the recall done with the reflash. I had called my dealer earlier this year and they were oblivious of the problem even though I had taken my jeep in 2 times to correct. I have another recall notice and decided to wait until I get that done.

When I have a problem I just pull the fuse and it resets.

I had the latest flash done last summer and it has been good since. Towed the GC on a number of trips and it popped in and out of Neutral with no issues.

However I DO still carry the non-N23 FDCM with me, just in case...

X2 for me RVThere. Since the July reflash, the transfer case has gone in and out without a problem. I still cross my fingers and toes and hold my breath until I hear the gears mesh. I carry the pre N23 FDCM with the correct socket to remove the seat.

Best of luck to you all.
