Looking for new tow car. Ford hybrid Escape too many issues. Want something simple. Try a Jeep everyone says. My husband likes the size of the Grand Cherokee. We found one used 2003 for a good price. I didn't check mileage but it looks a bit worn out. This would not deter us. It is a 4X2. Wanted to make sure this is still a good one to tow. A friend suggested his tow package because of it's simplicity, Unified Tow Brake by US Gear.

Thanks for your feedback!!!

OpiesMom.

I think you have to have 4WD in order to tow a Jeep.

It needs to be 4x4 to be able to tow it 4 down without having to do a lot of modifications to the drive train.
