Jeep n-23 recall

Those of you that have had this, know that Chrysler still does not know how to fix the problem.Be sure to start a case with star. They will be sending out ANOTHER recall in July saying this will fix the problem.Being full time we do not have the time to wait,so the photo is our fix to problem. We spent around $2500. to set the Grand Cherokee to tow that we can not use now had to spend another $5500 for trailer just to get the jeep home. Though about selling jeep but would take a big loss with it not towable.
I will stay on Chrysler to step up to the plate and make some adjustment for our expense. I told the case manager that i am NOT going away, and the rest of you with this problem please do the same.Power in numbers.

I too had the N23 recall done on my Commander. Within two weeks I started having problems. I was always able to override with the fuse pull trick outlined here.

Jeep GC recall done - now xfer case won't shift into neutral

Within two weeks, I would have to do it again.

I kept on my Jeep dealer and just before we left on this trip, they reprogrammed the ECM with the latest update. I haven't had any trouble since. That has been two months ago. (I probably just jinxed myself)

Had the recall done last May and kept checking it and it worked fine. Until July 3rd. Got ot the campground unhooked and it wouldn't go out of neutral. Unhooked the positive battery cable , then put it back on and was able to get back to normal. Trading it in in 2 weeks. Just can't take the chance when we head out in Sept.

Is there any information out there on failure rate for those jeeps that have had the recall applied? I have not had an issue *yet*, but I have also not towed my jeep very much since the recall was applied. If this issue is a ticking time bomb, a trade is in my future, and I will be very reluctant to give Jeep more of my money after they messed up a perfectly good vehicle.
