You would think that with all that's going on, Wrangler prices would be down ??

I have an 04 Liberty with 85,000 miles I was looking at trading. The dealer left alive in town had the one I was looking for but still at the same prices before they were eaten up by Tony.

I looked at an 09 Wrangler Sahara......$25,000 plus.

They don't qualify for any Goverment incentive because they get 19 mpg.

What's it like in your area ??

I have been looking for a used Wrangler since August of 08. I guess I am to picky because I have had no luck. We looked at new a couple months ago but that was a no go because of what they asking.

I searched craigslist and found the cheaper the wrangler the more you were going to invest in getting it right. Only found two real nice ones, and they were gone before I called. Ended up paying the NADA price for 2003 wrangler X with 61000 miles.

Look for a 2008 leftover.

I just bought a brand new 2008 Grand Cherokee with a 3.0l CRD Diesel for $28k. It had a $41k sticker price. It was cheaper to buy new than a used one. I'm getting about 23 mpg around town with the diesel.

I live close to Select Jeeps in League City, TX. I stopped a few times and the owner is very friendly (as would be expected) He is very helpful with any selection that you may be interested in. I would have purchased a Jeep from him except my wife did not like the rougher ride, which is apparent in any short wheel base.

I bought a new 2008 Rubicon last September and I am happy with the price and the vehicle. You might save a few bucks by shopping around and taking a bunch of time, but what the heck, go buy what you want and enjoy it!

I just purchased an 08 jeep liberty from enterprise fleet. Great price $14,300 tax & tittle out the door with 30k on it. Very clean 12 month warranty plus jeeps 36k warranty. The only problem is it's 2 wheel drive. Now with the money i've saved I have to get the drive shaft disconnect. Can't win them all. Happy Father's day!

On 12/30/08, I bought a $27,000 '09 Wrangler X, for $20,800 + tax. Last week I checked on Wrangler prices at the same dealer and now there are no deals on them. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Well Padillab you got a great deal. I went today to another dealer in LaBelle, FL and the problem there was little inventory. No 4X4 of any kind ???

Mom now wants to look at 08 or 09 Liberty. We've had an 04 and are very pleased with it. Has 89,903 miles. We want to get something new...perhaps the last Jeep we buy. I wouldn't mind catching a plane somewhere for a good deal.

I just hate to look at any foreign 4X4 like Honda, Suzuki..... I want to buy AMERICAN.

Looked at 2008 Liberty Sport 18,323 miles, program vehicle balance of 3/36 warranty. $20,116.00 tax included. Bought a new 2009 Liberty Sport Trailrated 4x4 with 26 miles on it 3/36 and Life Time Drive Train warranty for $22,400.00 tax included. This was back in February before all the issues with bankruptcy.

I just bought a 07 Jeep liberty 4x4 on Ebay with 24k miles and paid $11500. Excellent condition and very pleased. Got lucky the guy was only 1 1/2 hours away. Was also looking at a dealership on EBAY from houston Texas. Have seen him for a long time. Wranglers are about the same here, anywhere from $22k-$30k or more.

My husband and I just bought a new 2009 Jeep Wrangler X, soft top, 6 speed manual, air, etc. - after looking at used ones for over a year. Many of the used ones on the market were "abused" - and we take great care of our vehicles. We paid $19,300.00 OUT THE DOOR (tax, license, delivery, etc.) - which we didn't think was too bad! We financed for 4.47% at National City Bank. We have a great dealer here in Michigan - Milosch's Palace in Auburn Hills (248-393-2222). Cathy Maniace is our gal!!! My husband is VERY happy! He's wanted one of these since he was 20 years old! We purchased the Blue Ox baseplate on RVUpgrades.com for under $400.00, and used our existing brake buddy, etc. The dealer installed the baseplate and wiring harness for only $110.00!! Not bad after we were quoted anywhere from $450.00 to $630.00 elsewhere! good luck in your search!

FWIW, we bought our Sahara Unlimited in April, just before the Employee pricing discount ended.
Out the door ran us just over 17K for a fully loaded Unlimited 4 dr 4x4.
We re very happy with it
