Hello, just wondering if anyone has base plated a 2011 Rubicon and if the sway bar disconnect proposes a problem ? Thanks, RJG...

We have a 2011 Unlimited Rubi. We're using Blue Ox plate and tow arms. Braking by AirForceOne. No problems or issues at all. But I can't answer about the sway bar disconnect as we haven't used it. Brazels did the install on the Jeep and I would think Brazel's would have indicated to us if there might be an issue with the SBD.

Thank you for your response, looks like you have mine hooked up its also silver almost identical. I guess I was wondering about the clearance of the base plates and the the module so to speak that accuates the disconnect that I believe is mounted on the sway bar just above the skid plate and behind the bumper at center of frame. I guess its position does not hinder the installation. I have Roadmaster and will be using Air force duo play system as my brakes are hydroboost.
My elec connector is 4 way there is a step up connector to 7 way not sure but think I will have to run some wire for the lighting system and possibly install additional bulbs as to not void the warrenty?

RJG... Main change we did to the Rubi is we had the wheels anodized charcoal color... we just did it because we like the look. Wranglers are awesome rides and make superb toads.

I apologize for hijacking the thread, but I would love to know more about getting the wheels anodized. My JK is the same silver and black and those wheels look awesome.

TTT... Put your Jeep on jack stands, remove the wheels, have the tires taken off the wheels and take the wheels to a powder coat place. For the best quality result, have the wheels chemically stripped before powder coating. Your powder coat guy should be able to have this done. When I said anodization, I meant powder coat.

After powder coating... You can see the metal flake in this bright sunlit image.

I was very picky and took my time when selecting the color! I didn't want to go black black. I picked a graphite color with metal flake in it, which looks black in dimmer light and looks graphite in full sun... There is some silver metal flake in the color I selected. We LOVE how these wheels turned out!

Thanks, They look great!!. I'll be looking into powder coating soon. I've got less than 800 miles on it now so I want a little play time before I have to shut it down for a while.
