Jeep Wrangler tow
Is there any tow bar recommended for a jeep wrangler? Towing with a gas powered 30' class A. Thanks

We are running with the RoadMaster All-Terrain tow bars and hardware, and a RoadMaster Invisbrake. Been using them for three years, easy hookup, no complaints thus far. Happy travels.

Welcome!!
TJ, JK, other? If JK check out the Curry base plate. For the tow bar and brake, consider the Ready Brute with integrated braking system. Great bang for the buck.

I went Blue Ox and I am satisfied with the product. Recommend going to a RV resort/campground, walk around, and check out how people are doing it. Maybe one style will be more appealing to you.

I went with a Blue Ox Alpha tow bar and the base plate from Demco. The base plate connections sit higher up under the bumper than the Blue Ox base plate and it mates up perfectly with the tow bar.

The Blue Ox town at system is what we tow our Jeep Wrangler with since 2009. It is so stable that when the right front tire blew and we " ride the rim" for 12 miles until a tanker driver informed us of our problem. We never felt it, or saw it on the rear camera.. The stability saved us!

On an older Wrangler like mine you can connect to the bumper and not need a base plate. What year is your Wrangler?

we use the Eagle tow bar that has expandable arms....and a Break Buddy....no issues at all towing our 2002 Jeep Wrangler Type X with our Ace 29.2, 2013.

Towed both our '95 Wrangler and 2013 Wrangler with a Roadmaster Tracker tow bar. Simple and straight forward. The crossbar bolted directly onto the factory bumper on the '95. We towed that behind a 22' Class C without issue. Then when we sold the '95 Wrangler and the Class C and bought a 2013 Wrangler and a Class A coach and we used the same tow bar on the new vehicles.
Just traded in the 2013 Wrangler and we're now towing a GMC Terrain with a new Roadmaster Falcon all Terrain tow bar. The jeep tows nicely. We simply got tired of the relatively bumpy ride it gave us.
