After getting the sad news from my dealer that he was expecting 4-6 months to order the specific Jeep that I wanted, I got up Saturday and thought I would take one more look on the net at all my local dealers. Jeep dealers have a neat web site that will let you search each dealers inventory by plugging in your zip code. I had already checked the local inventory on Friday, but I figured what the heck.

I pulled up the inventory of a Jeep dealer down by the beach. And much to my surprise, there was listed the EXACT Jeep I had just ordered at a different dealer! The DW and I went to look at it. It was everything that I had wanted, with the exception of a block heater cord.

It had appearently been in transit, because it had been on the lot just 4 hours. I drove it, and wheeled and dealed a little, (the DW is brutal on salesmen) and I drove her home that night. It is an 08' Rubicon Unlimited, Steel blue metallic, 6 Speed, tow package, three piece Freedom hard top, power conveinence group, and Infinity sound system. It drives like a dream, and I have already had the tops off. Now just to get her ready to tow
