Kar Kaddy dolly vs 4-down

I drive an 06 View (max tow weight 3500 pounds) and was towing a VW TDI automatic with a Kar Kaddy 3 dolly that worked real well for me, but I was at max weight. I sold the VW and now have a lighter Honda fit manual and am considering going 4-down. Have to sell the Kar Kaddy first. My thinking is this is a good idea as I drop another 500 pounds getting rid of the Kar Kaddy and it is easier to go 4 down. Any suggestion on what system to consider and what breaking system to look at? Thanks, chris 06V23H
Anyone want a Kar Kaddy 3? Used once.
