Hi TheArnolds,
I have the SS since 05. It works as advertised. I would purchase the same product again and will not sell the one I have. The only unique comments I have are:
1. The unit comes with Carlisle tires. These are not noted for their longevity or safety.
2. I really need the third wheel that goes on the tongue. It cranks up and down to help one with manual maneuvering of the dolly. This is a heavy dolly. Without that wheel I could not maneuver it.

I think it is a very good tow dolly I have had mine for 5 years works great I also like the way it folds out to save space and the surge brakes built on the unit

Got ours in 2005, it came with Marathon tires, and the wheeled jack. The only "problems" I've had are:
1. It was missing a hold back spring that is necessary on units being pulled with a diesel that has engine or exhaust braking, that keeps it from activating the surge brakes when just using the engine braking. They sent the unit to me at no charge.
2. I've got a broken fender, not sure how it happened but it's breaking around the rivets on the top of the fender.
Haven't used it in a while as I've ben towing the Ody fourn down bur I'm not going to sell it either as I don't totally trust the Ody four down. Honda says it's not towable four down but lots of people do it.

Have had the SS model since 2003, only problem has been clearance light vibrating loose from one fender, caused by rought Interstate Highway system. Totally happy, would by it again.

Bought one a year ago after researching a great deal. I like it, and would buy it again.

Bought one we they first introduced the SS model loved the swivel axle and folding ramps. It was made out of galvanized steel so no rust and plastic fenders. I used it for about three years then bought a car capable of being towed four down so I sold my Kar Kaddy 460 SS for what I had paid for it.
