Well I learned my first lesson tonight...

... Make sure you can turn around before committing to entering a parking area. I had to unhook the wrangler in 15 degree temperatures. Move the jeep then the MH and re connect.

Dont ever want to do that again. It was cold!

That was one of my first lessons too... especially at gas stations where the pumps face the store/office. Because our rig is short we have juuuuusst made it a couple of times!

Good advice! That's happened to me twice, but I was lucky. I was able to back-up in a straight line in both instances with the toad still attached. My little Honda Accord seems to track o.k. if all I do is back up straight and don't try to turn it one way or the other. The second time this happened I was able to back up at least 100'. I did it very slowly.
