Leave fob in car? 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid.

I followed the manual to put it in stay in neutral mode. It does not say if I leave the fob in the car or not. I was told some cars do and some don't. FoMoCo was not any help. What say you?
Thanks

Not required in our case so I keep the fob in my pocket.

2018 Ford Focus. Because the battery is disconnected the fob won't work but all the other keys on the ring will. So we lock the door with a physical key and keep fob and keys in our pocket where it normally is kept. This way we never have to remember where we put the keys.
