Okay, point of clarification. I can mount the plate, just don't like the noise it makes while driving. My point of addressing the issue was more about the law than mounting issues.

Arby49, what noise does the plate make? Ours is quiet. Just curious.

The Law is quite simple. If the State issues 2 plate, they are both required to be mounted. IMHO

I have a few Collector Vehicles. In WA they only require a rear plate, other vehicles require 2. I have been stopped and questioned a few times. It is stated on the registration only the rear plate is required.
