Even with regular service by Blue Ox, their tow bar materials are not particularly tough and definitely are not long lasting. We've had three different models and in each case had excessive wear of the three tab knuckles, the bolt areas and, of course the areas where their plastic washers are located. Despite regular "service" by BO they were not willing to say these pieces were worn, yet they were very loose. We used to use steel shim stock in bolt holes and replaced a few bolts due to shaft wear. Not too much you can do with the 3 tab knuckles except overbore the holes or get over sized hard pins made for them. Despite their early wear, in my opinion they are about the strongest units out there. We've had others but the mediocre BO's were definitely the strongest. They just don't wear well. We've got over 250,000 miles pulling 4 down, Florida to Alaska, Maine to San Diego.````

When we toured the plant they said it was engraved on it. I never looked at mine, but I believe it was on one on the arm parts.
