Is anyone towing the 2007 model Lincoln Navigator? I'm wondering if the same mofifications used to tow the Explorer, etc. are applicable for this new model.

Maybe you should call Remco Towing and ask - they will tell you what, if anything, is needed.
Navigator has been around a long time - it's basically an upscale version of the Ford Expedition and I would expect that the Expedition procedures would apply to it. Double check to be sure, though.

The Navigator is not towable without modification.
The Ford Neutral Tow Kit only works on the Explorer/Mountaineer, and the Ranger/B2300.
Gary has the correct route to go, REMCO TOWING

As Dirk says, the Explorer neutral kit does not work on an Expedition and therefore probably not on a Navigator either. And I think the Navigator has some alternate drive train packages as well. If a Lincoln dealer can't help, Remco will know what (if anything) can be done.
REMCO is 1 800 228 2481.

Bob, we tow a 06 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. However we just bought a Lincoln MXK and after reading the owners manual it is towable with all four down with no modifications which surprised us as we didn't buy for a toad. After research the Lincoln MKX and the Ford Edge are towable. The weight I believe is around 4100# on these vehicles. Good Luck.
